George F. McDougall once said, “Christmas means a spirit of love, a time when the love of God and love of our fellow men should prevail over all hatred and bitterness, a time when our thoughts and deeds and the spirit of our lives manifest the presence of God.” On Sunday morning, we will pause in love as we enter the heart of the Christmas story recalling the birth of Jesus who brings eternal hope, joy, peace, and love. Together we will explore how we can best manifest the presence of God as Christmas 2017 comes to fruition and be mindful that when we let the love of Christ lead our lives the world will be forever transformed by the light that overcomes the darkness.
