What is Kroger Community Rewards?
The Kroger Family of Companies is committed to community engagement, positive social impact and charitable giving at the national and local levels. Kroger understands every community is unique, but their common goal is to partner with the neighborhoods they serve and help the people there live healthier lives.
One of the ways in which they do this is through our Kroger Community Rewards program. This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Shopper’s Card.
How do I shop Kroger?
Simply shop with Kroger through your normal methods of shopping. Remember to scan your Kroger Plus Card at checkout. As long as you’ve chosen The Garden as your beneficiary, donations will automatically be submitted to The Garden on a quarterly basis. These donations do not impact, redirect, nor diminish your personal Kroger rewards – this is a separate program dually benefiting non-profits.
How much of my purchase does Kroger donate?
Kroger will pay up to $500,000 on a quarterly basis to participating organizations based on their percentage of spending of all participating Kroger Community Rewards organizations. In practice, The Garden usually receives around $50-100 per quarter from the program.
