It’s finally here! This Friday evening is our 25th (Going on 26th) Anniversary Celebration of The Garden with our Guest of Honor, Rev. Dr. Linda McCoy, the founding Pastor of The Garden. Arrive at 6:00 PM and get started with some drinks from the bar; dinner service will begin soon after, then the main program will begin. All through the evening, enjoy entertainment and our silent auction. You’re encouraged to be prepared with cash or check, but we’ll also be able to accept credit cards, if needed, at the event.

Dress comfortably as if you were going to an outdoor event — western wear is optional but would fit the atmosphere of the evening. Parking is about 500 feet away from the barn (that’s about 200 steps or a tenth of a mile), and we will have complimentary shuttle service available from GT Carts if you’re not comfortable walking that distance through the grass.

This Sunday is our next in-person service hosted once again at Union Chapel. This also begins our new service time and location — every Sunday, in-person, 11 am, at Union Chapel for the foreseeable future! Finally, The Garden is back together again!

At our first Union chapel worship service, we had 115 people in person, we expect more for our anniversary service, especially since Rev. Dr. Linda McCoy will speak during the Sunday service. And last time, we heard the feedback that you wished you had a bit more elbow room in the Great Room. So this Sunday, we will have the service in the Union Chapel Sanctuary and also simulcast it in the Great Room. This arrangement will allow ample room — about 3 feet of distance between seats — and still be able to host around 200 hundred Gardeners — from the past and present! Following CDC Guidelines, masks are recommended.

Donuts and coffee will be available outside by 10:30 AM, and Union Chapel welcomes coffee with lids and donuts all throughout the interior of the building, including the Sanctuary. We’ll begin the service right around 11 AM. Come early so you can secure a seat where you’re most comfortable — the Sanctuary or the Great Room.

The following Sundays, we’ll be back in the great room with a hybrid setup of chairs spaced further apart with fewer tables — attempting to find the perfect floor plan in our new home at Union Chapel.

Tickets: Tickets/reservations are not required to be presented upon arrival. We have carefully curated our guest list and we’ll have “cowboy and cowgirl name” badges available upon arrival for those that registered.
Silent Auction: Open from 6:00 – 8:45 PM. Payment by cash or check is preferred, though credit card processing is also available. Proceeds benefit The Garden’s programs, including The Garden Gives grant opportunities.
Heads or Tails Game: Purchas leis with cash only; the more leis you purchase, the better your odds of winning. It’s a simple game of 50/50 chance; no special skills required.
Bar Service: Limited Beer/Wine Selection (Light, Martzen, IPA; Red/White) for $6.00; Diet Coke, Bottled Water. Cash preferred, credit accepted; tipping is welcomed.
Restrooms: The venue provides a restroom trailer with steps. Additionally, The Garden will provide an ADA compliant portable restroom.
Parking: Parking is in a grass field about 500 feet from the venue. Shuttle service (golf-cart) will be available for those uncomfortable with walking through a grassy lawn to the venue.
Dress Code: Dress comfortably for this outside/rustic event in The Barn at Zionsville. Western wear will fit the theme of the evening, though not required. (But, it would make Becky Cheatham really excited.)
