In American football, the “red zone” is the area of the playing field between the 20-yard line and the goal line. Defense and offense both step up their game when they reach the red zone. These days, the term “red zone” has taken on new meaning as it is an indicator used when areas are hit hard by the coronavirus. One might say these new red zones are yet another opportunity for all of us to step up our game.
Join us Sunday as we explore living in The Red Zone and introduce the next Big Give — Pike Red Zone Food Pantry which is run by the Pike Township Education Foundation (PTEF). The PTEF is a not-for-profit organization that raises funds for activities including scholarships and grants for teacher-driven projects to enhance the educational experience of Pike students.
