Get Involved

Fletcher Place Community Center provides programs to break the cycle of poverty through hope, compassion, and renewal. Gardeners like you may contribute by purchasing, creating and donating a laundry basket full of household items for families in need. We also appreciate donations, and the help of volunteers for shopping and support. Drop-off date will be November 28th at St. Luke’s.

Baskets should contain:
•  1 large rectangular laundry basket
•  8 rolls of toilet paper
•  2 boxes of facial tissue
•  2 large rolls of paper towels
•  4 bars of soap
•  4 toothbrushes
•  2 large tubes toothpaste
•  1 container of laundry detergent
•  2 bottles of shampoo
•  2 containers of deodorant
• 1 package of trash bags
And if you feel inspired, other items may be included.
