On February 16th, The Garden welcomes Richard Propes as our guest speaker. Richard is a nationally recognized child advocate and peace activist who from 1989-2019 traveled over 6,000 miles in his wheelchair raising awareness and funds on behalf of child and family advocacy organizations worldwide. A paraplegic/double amputee born with spina bifida, Richard is the author of “The Hallelujah Life” and has received numerous honors for his activism including Prevent Child Abuse America’s highest honor, the Donna J. Stone Award, and has been named a Sagamore of the Wabash in Indiana. On February 16th, Richard will explore what it means to be made in the image of God and what happens when our bodies change…with us and with God.
