Go To Your Room
In an attempt to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus we have been asked to “stay in place.” Governor Holcomb ordered Hoosiers to “hunker down.” We have been stopped in our tracks. No more coming and going as we please. It’s almost like being a child again and having your parents say “Go to your room!” Like children, we don’t like others to tell us what to do. Some individuals have rebelled and disobeyed, creating a dangerous situation for many. Others have grumbled and complained and reluctantly stayed home. While a majority of people have gracefully accepted the situation and have found a way to see the challenge as an opportunity to restructure life.
On Sunday we will look at a section of the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus encourages all of us to . . . “Go to your room!”
