Hidden Heroes

Passage: Isaiah 58:10-11, Romans 15:1-2, Matthew 20:25-28
Service Type:

Bible Text: Isaiah 58:10-11, Romans 15:1-2, Matthew 20:25-28 | Speaker: Rev. Dr. Carolyn Scanlan-Holmes

Throughout history, there have been many Hidden Heroes, individuals whose names we may never even know and individuals who chose to stay out of the spot light. They speak for those who have no voice, stand up for justice, and bring hope and love into the world in ways that have had a lasting impact.

On Sunday, we will look at the hidden heroes of the Bible. We will look at their stories and consider why they were overlooked. We will also welcome the Red Cross to The Garden to share in a special presentation for a Hidden Hero in our very own midst and consider how we could each become the hidden heroes of tomorrow.
