Bible Text: 2 Corinthians 12:1-10 The Message (MSG) | Speaker: Rev. Dr. Carolyn Scanlan-Holmes | A number of years ago, the power grid went down in New York City and “The City That Never Sleeps” ended up powerless. First, people panicked; fearful the outage was a sign of some bigger plot of terrorism. Eventually, when the lights did not come back on, they realized they had to take measures to deal with the situation as best they could. This event changed people and communities. For some, it was a time of desperation, for others it was an opportunity to come together.
