The Big Picture
Bible Text: Matthew 16:19-21 | Speaker: Rev. Dr. Carolyn Scanlan-Holmes | In the midst of the pandemic, for many, daily living has changed scope. We have gone from big living to more of a myopic lifestyle. Working from home, only going to places that are absolutely necessary, and seeing that things are not changing can not only be frustrating but can limit our vision on living for today and the future. How can we keep our eyes on the big picture when our world is getting smaller? In Matthew’s gospel, we are reminded that if we only have a limited focus we can lose sight of what is really important.
