Unexpected Miracles: Food for the Journey

Passage: Mark 14:22-26
Service Type:

Bible Text: Mark 14:22-26 | Speaker: Rev. Dr. Carolyn Scanlan-Holmes | Series: Unexpected Miracles | It is pretty amazing when you think about it. We eat food and that food is transferred into energy and keeps our body healthy and moving. On a daily basis, this miraculous transformation takes place with little thought from us. It would seem to be that Jesus understood the power of a meal. Not the science of it all but how a meal calls us together to share in community, how when we gather we are fed by the spirit or energy that has lasting power. On Sunday we will talk about the spiritual energy that comes in communion.
