May 26, 2019, will be the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 where the greatest drivers in racing will compete in “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.”  All the racers and their teams have but one goal in mind that is to not only complete the 200 laps around the 2.5-mile track but to take home the Borg-Warner Prize.  For over 100 years the basics of the Indy 500 have not changed much.  Drivers go round and around through the 4 turns until they get the signal that the race is over.  They take pitstops to gas up, change the tires and ensure they will have what they need to finish the race.
