COMFORT & CARE

Assist Gardeners who are in need, through emotional support, bereavement support, hospital visitation, etc. as needed. (Lead: Carolyn Scanlan-Holmes, Lead Pastor)

OUTREACH

Coordinate opportunities for helping others such as Little and Big Gives, volunteer service projects, and collecting donated items. The team meets once a month. 

MEDIA

Responsible for video direction, running cameras, cueing slides during Sunday services. Experience is a plus, but some training is available. 

HOSPITALITY

We set up the Great Room at Union Chapel Church on Saturday mornings, order the donuts and bagels and pick them up on Sunday mornings, hand out programs, and help with food tables, seating, greeting, and cleaning up afterward the service. Team members are generally scheduled to help one service, once a month.

GARDENING GARDENERS

Become involved with a community garden to supply fresh vegetables to a food pantry in our neighborhood. 

MARKETING

Members focus on getting the word out about The Garden. Help with the website and facilitate other media communication among Gardeners. Meets approximately once per month.

FINANCE

Volunteers set and oversee budget and explore opportunities to raise funds to help support the ministry of The Garden. Meets approximately once per month.
