Taylor Hall is an Artivist, which is a political activist who expresses her values through interpretive artistic craft. Taylor was one of the key organizers that organized the largest protest in 30 years in Indianapolis; with over 10,000 people at the State Capitol in June. She released her debut song “I Can’t Breathe” in July after performing it at the State Capitol. Hall organized over twenty protests in the summer of 2020 and assisted in registering thousands of voters. She was named a “2020 Hero of the Pandemic” by Indy Monthly, received the 2021 Community Member Award from Wayne Township, and was a recipient of the 2021 Trailblazer Award from the Kennedy King Memorial Initiative. She is the founder of Artivist LLC, a youth-based company inspiring activism through art. Artivist LLC’s goal is to help youth develop coping strategies through art, music, poetry, dance, and any form of artistic expression. The five pillars of Artivist LLC are: Art, Activism, Diversity & Inclusion, Education, and Mentorship.

After introducing herself to the world through her insightfully powerful debut single, I Can’t Breathe, in 2020 and building momentum throughout the following year in with the release of "Unfolding" & "Streetlights", songwriter and recording artist Taylor Hall has secured her spot on playlists and charts throughout the world. By Betty Brandt March 12, 2025
A poignant blog post by Betty Brandt reflecting on a poem her father, James M. Buck, wrote to her in 1944 while stationed at Ft. McClellan, Alabama, during World War II. Betty shares her father’s love for poetry, his role as a unit scribe in Patton’s Army, and the heartfelt stories of camaraderie and survival among his fellow soldiers. Interweaving themes of love, storytelling, and faith, this post encourages readers to cherish and share their own family stories, creating connections filled with healing and sacred moments.
